With a documentarian's eye for detail and an academic foundation in narrative storytelling, Keerthi Raj is a photographer, cinematographer, and documentary filmmaker based in London. He holds an MSc with Distinction in Science Media Production from the world-renowned Imperial College London and is guided by a core belief in the power of relatable, high-quality factual work to connect, inspire, and engage diverse audiences.
Keerthi has delivered high-impact photography, videography, and documentary work for a range of partners, including international government bodies, major corporations, leading academic institutions, and non-profits. He currently provides technical tutoring at Imperial College London and serves as the Head of Video at a creative agency. His diverse experience includes serving as an assistant director on an Amazon Prime feature film, an assistant cinematographer on 48 episodes of an internationally broadcast television series, and as a researcher on a National Geographic documentary series.
As the founder of his passion project, Climate Care Films, he produces documentaries and develops narrative strategies that support local and national climate organisations in the UK.
When he isn't behind the lens, Keerthi channels his energy into cricket, badminton, and strategy games like Catan and chess. He finds these activities offer a different kind of focus and challenge, enriching his creative process and underscoring the dedication he brings to every pursuit.
